Stuck Among The Unknown

Samuel Franklin was being chased.Something was after him.It had a monkey's body,A tiger's claws,brown fur,a cat's head,a dragonfly's eyes, and a circular mouth with teeth randomly jutting out.He had woken up,gotten ready for work,walked out the door,and whoa!A mutant beast was after him!

He dropped his suitcase and ran like heck.It was fast.A bit faster than him.Samuel cursed

at himself for running past his car.It was too late now.Samuel looked down at the ground

and awaited his death.

In the four seconds left,Samuel Frankiln said goodbye to his family,his car,his home,the

suburbs of Virginia,and his precious life.The thing pounced on Samuel,beat him,and

tied him up with thick,strong rope.He opened his mouth to shout for help,but he didn't have time.

The beast smashed his head with its paws.Samuel Franklin,had been abducted by a mutant beast.

Dora was a monvab of Alequaruss.This may sound a bit confusing,you'll get used to it.

Monvabs are about one foot tall.Their heads are like horizontal ovals.Their ears are basically microscopic holes on the side of their heads.Their skin is rock hard.It grows back,and it is light.

Their faces are basically just like human faces with tiny noses.Monvabs have no special skin on their faces.They have two small,one-inch horns on either side if their heads.

Their bodies look like a bunch of oval rocks put together to form a human-like basic appearance.

Monvabs often use special paint to design their rock-like skin.They like the underground.

They master plenty of languages of earth such as french,german,russian,hungarian,spanish,

chinese,japanese,portugese,and obviously english.

Alequariuss is an underground continent filled with Monvabs.

It is sort of a typical underground hideout.Tunnels,secret passages,holes,springs,

and various types of rocks are scattered about.People have never discovered it because

monvabs are like ghosts to them.

Monvabs and Alequariuss are in a dimension that is nearly equivalent to our one.

The only difference is,well,instead of people,savage conquerers called mofkouns

rule the land.Monvabs have the magical ability to travel from one dimension to the next.

The danger is that they can't really tell where they are going unless they know

what it is like.

The monvabs got lucky and found a dimension with people to get food from.

But the mofkouns started attacking the monvabs.The monvabs were struggling for survival.

Enough of that dimension babble.Dora was a ten year old monvab.Monvabs live until about

age one-hundred on average.But,they are still fully mature at age twenty.Dora was born right when

the mofkouns began attacking.She had never seen much happiness.Only death and suffering.

And now her family and all the other monvabs were going to earth to take their chances with

the humans.Dora was obviously not pleased with her life so far.

Samuel Franklin awoke with a sick feeling.He was in a metal  cage.It was surrounded by thousands of the same kind of creature that had chased him.He saw something on a metal plate.It was all brownish and tannish.Next to the plate was a bowl of brown liquid.He thought a while and then decided it was food.

Samuel hesitated before eating.It was horrible!Even worse than garbage!

But he ate and drank,trying to ignore it.Samuel decided he was going to die anyway

so he decided to take someone down with him.He picked up the metal plate getting ready to throw.

Just then Samuel realized that he was already going crazy.He set the plate down and slept.

Dora knew she couldn't bring much with her.But,being born in the middle of a war and all,she was never

given much.Dora brought a book titled Human Lifestyle and another called A Monvab's Guide to

People. Dora was wise for her young age.She knew that her books would be helpful to her and her

family.

Dora had not yet developed the ability of dimensional travel.So,her parents had to work twice as hard

to bring her along.When the time came,Dora  held her father's hand and her books as the warping began.Her father Benjy's normally black skin began to glow a vibrant yellow.The glow grew towards

Dora's hand.Up her hand,her leg,her head,her feet,her other hand.Alequariuss suddenly began to glow.

Everybody was leaving.The monvabs were going to another land,free of mofkouns.

And just like that,the monvabs were on  human earth.

The monvabs ended up in Tokyo,Japan.

They were in a cellar.The perfect type of place to get warped to.They decided to

wait until they were discovered.

Dora sat, snuggled up to her mother,Amelia.Benjy was nearby.

He was among many other monvabs awaiting their discovery.Everybody wondered where they were and what would happen.

After the first couple hours,somebody came down into the cellars.He was a teenage boy.Once he saw the

monvabs,he shouted,"demons!demons!demons have come to haunt us!demo-"

A strong monvab called Jake covered the boy's mouth.

Jake adjusted to the Japanese language and said clearly,"We are not demons.We are mystical

creatures from a land called Alequariuss."

By now,everybody was standing up,watching Jake and the boy converse.

"I am Jake.Please don't run up stairs."

"I am Ito.I am a human."

Jake told Ito all about the situation.Ito was basically forced to believe him.

Ito shared his simple story,"I am fifteen.I am Japanese."

"I have come down into the cellars because my bedroom is next to it."

"I did not expect visitors from another dimension."

"And I didn't expect to end up meeting a teenager."

"I expected a fully mature human male."

"They are called adults."

"Oh.sorry..."

"Can we stay in the cellars for a day or two?"

Ito laughed."Heck yeah!"

"I've always wanted aliens to come down and challenge me in their cool,new,

videogames."

Jack hesitated,"We monvabs don't know much about videogames."

Ito sighed,"I guess I'll have to teach you how to play."

Sam looked at the beasts.They were horrible!A lot of them were digging holes.They didn't seem like natural diggers!

He observed everything he could see from his cage.He mostly saw soldiers,diggers,and some rock-like creatures in other cages.Samuel Franklin slept.

When Sam woke up, there was another creature in his cage.It was one of those rock-like creatures.

The strange rock-beast said something that sounded Japanese.Then it said something Chinese,then Russian,French,Portugese,Spanish and finally english."Hello,earth man."

Sam was shocked at it's lingual abilities,"You know all those languages?"

He went on with questions,"Where am I?Who and what are you?What are those beasts out there?

Why am I here?What is going on?Wha-"

The creature shouted,"I'll tell you everything!"

"I am a Monvab named Lola."

"Those monsters out there are called mofkouns."

Lola told Sam everything about the attack and the monvabs.

Lola had stayed behind to help save some baby monvabs escape while she distracted the guards.

Samuel wouldn't have believed her if there weren't mofkouns all over.

Lola said,"Now,you better tell me about yourself!"

Samuel did as he should.He told Lola his short story.

Lola was amazed,"Mofkouns can dimensionally travel too!?"

"What if earth ends up battling the mofkouns!?"

Sam thought...

He realized something.

Sam asked Lola,"Hey Lola,do you know why...why did they choose to capture me?"

She laughed,"Let's just say you are the sacred one and start thinking up ways to get outta here!"

Sam was amazed,"Get out of here!?"

"There are...um...er...."

"Mofkouns?"

"Yeah.There are mofkouns all over.Where do we have to go?"

"Well,this cage is made so monvabs can't just dimensionally warp outta here!We gotta get out and then try to dimensionally warp to earth.I never tried warping humans.They are big.But it's our only chance."

"How are we going to escape?"

She thought.Sam thought.Lola came up with a typical plan.

They moaned."I'm hungry..."

"I want foooood...."

"Cooome oooonnn...I want fooood..."

They kept it up for hours.Finally,a guard came along. Sam's arms are longer than a monvab's,so the guard didn't keep a good enough distance.Sam grabbed his neck,banged his head against the bars until he dropped,and grabbed the keys.

Once again,his arm length came in handy.He opened the door.Lola instantly grabbed his hand and started warping.
